Mooball Technologies is a boutique web development agency with 20 years experience delivering bespoke web-based solutions to clients all over the world.
We have a strong emphasis on new technologies, accessibility and UX design. Our clients range from .gov agencies and NGOs down to small businesses. Our services cover a wide range of web-based technical solutions.
Our office is located in a cool coworking space in New Farm near many cafes, restaurants and shops, free street parking and convenient public transport.
We are looking for a motivated full stack developer capable of handling all layers of web application development from system-admin right up to UX design.
You will be working directly with clients on new and existing projects. You will be spreading your time between multiple clients and multiple types of projects and gain significant experience across a wide range of technologies and projects.
You will be required to attend our office full time – this position cannot be filled by remote work.
Bonus: You will also be involved in the development of a SaaS startup technology built in React/JS/Python/PostgreSQL. This is a highly scaled international service with many thousands of current users requiring ongoing development.
Required
- Python (3-5 years)
- Strong experience with HTML5, CSS3, CSS Frameworks such as Bootstrap, JavaScript, JS Frameworks such as React (2-3 years)
- Responsive web design
- Linux desktop for working environment
- PostgreSQL
- Git/SVN
- SQL
- Strong communication skills
- Sound knowledge of Linux system-administration including management of Apache, Nginx, MySQL, PostgreSQL, DNS, firewalls and general Linux security
Preferable
- Zope/Plone/Django (experience with similar frameworks Web2py, TurboGears, Grok, Django, Flask)
- PHP (unfortunately a necessary evil in this industry)
