Raise the Bar

Raise the Bar is a community campaign for you to voice your opinions on new liquor licenses for NSW. In 2007, Graham West and the Iemma Government passed the Liquor Act 2007, which is fantastic news for the residents of NSW.

New Bars may also need a PoPE entertainment licence through council, which is an expensive and complex process that doesn’t apply to poker machines or televisions.
PoPE regulation should only apply to the large theatres and public halls for which it was designed, not the local bar, pub, restaurant or cafe.
